Infinity on High - Fall Out Boy, there best album yet?

Monday 5th February marks the release of Fall Out Boy's third album to date with the immense track 'This ain't a scene...', with the video hitting the numer one spot on TRL.  This follows From Under The Cork Tree which made it big with two top ten hits, 'Sugar We're Goin' Down' and 'Dance Dance'.  The track tipped to make it a repeat performance in the top spot in the british chart is 'Thriller', also said to be Pete Wenz's favorite track on the album.  FOB are currently on the 'Friends or Enemies' tour where singer Patrick can be seen to warm up by a) burping, b) using a wooden back scratcher and c) singing the good old classic songs from his personal laptop, such as Ushers' 'Caught up' track.  So this band can be seen as anything but ordinary influencing a range of peeps from the kids on the scene to those people who could be considered 'old' and or 'past it'.

The band who are originally from Wilmette Illinois, America have made a big name for themselves in the past few years with touring internationally and helping out other big name bands, such as Panic! At The Disco, who were discovered in Las Vegas (hometown of The Killers who have had a 'few' problems otherwise known as 'misunderstandings' with FOB in the past).

Also they're part of the label FueledByRamen with is currently spitting out great bands like there's no tomorrow such as Cute Is What We Aim For, The Academy Is... and Paramore who are leaking into the British scene to be noticed by us British 'kids'.

Funeral update....

Funeral for a friend have a new album in the pipeline and with the time from their last album ‘hours’ they as a band it seems have changed (maturity not guaranteed though they most are grown up with families of their own) to a different direction in music. Though all has yet to be revealed it is known that they are mixing and trying completely new things on the next album (rumoured involvement of orchestras, the possibilities as they say are ‘endless’). So watch this space March/April time…
